What Size Grow Light Do You Need?

This depends on many different factors. The first consideration is three factors;

The type of lighting, the plants you are growing and your grow area size;

1. Lighting requirements

For lighting requirements, different plant with different light request. Plants requiring high light are usually flowering and / or fruiting plants, such as tomatoes, oranges, orchids, marijuana, etc. Plants that require low light are non flowering plants, such as herbs or lettuce.

2. Lighting type

There are fluorescent grow light, LED grow light or CMH grow lamps on the market. But I recommend LED grow light instead of CMH grow lamps because they are easier to use, lower operating cost, less heat generation and longer service life.
