LED grow lights
LED grow light is a high cost-effective growth lamp, and you will soon be able to recover your investment. It’s very easy to set up because you only need one socket.
Built in cooling system for easy maintenance. Customize the color spectrum according to your goal. But some models are expensive cost than other standards.
HID grow lights
There are different types of HID grow lamps. Two common choices for growth are:
High pressure sodium lamps (HPS grow lights): these grow lamps use sodium gas discharge to emit light. They are most commonly used during flowering. Because they create warm light, it is perfect for bud production.
Metal halide lamp (MH): there are tiny metal halide compounds, which generate light source through discharge. MH grow Lamp is famous for its bright blue light.
High intensity gas discharge lamp provides extremely high yield of output per watt. Combined light can provide good spectral effect for marijuana. Both HPS and MH lights give you the perfect color spectrum for stages of cannabis. HPS for flowering, and MH for vegetation. These grow lights with high heat, needs extra cost and works for installation, short lifespan than LED Grow light and very easy to broken, When compared to LED grow lights systems (especially new ones) upfront costs should be cheaper. For some growers, they always combined LED grow light with HID grow light for the cannabis plants cycle.
T5 grow lights
T5 lamp provides extremely high intensity per watt for this type of lamp.
The average life of these bulbs is about 20000 hours.
Generate little heat and keep the temperature of the growth chamber low.
But it’ s not high efficiency for indoor plants flowering and lower light intensity.
CFL grow lights
CFL lamp is a very affordable choice with low purchase cost and operation cost.
In the first stage of growth, you can put them close to you for efficient lighting.
If your growth space is very limited, this is a good choice.
Same as T5 grow light, CFL grow lamps also not high efficiency for plant flowering stage and with very lower light intensity.
